Rad Tech Job SummaryOperates diagnostic imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing diagnostic exams.Determine how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.Follows policy and procedures.Ability to navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities.Ability to lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks.Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.Able to work weekends, holidays, shift rotations and call as needed.ARRT registered or registry eligible from an accredited Radiology program.CT Registered or CT registry eligible preferred.Maintains certification inComputer skillsGood verbal communication skillsDisplay critical thinking and decision-making skills.
