Job Description:

• Position: Rad Tech: Xray Tech
• Location: Burien, WA, 98166
• Pay scale: $65-$66/hour
• Weekly Gross: $2,394.00/week
• Shifts: Nights (730p-7a Thursday-Saturday)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start: 11^th Nov 2024

Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation)

Unit :

• **Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.**
• MUST provide traveler Radiation Badge - facility will not provide.
• Department: Radiology - General X-Ray Tech
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 x-ray rooms
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Fluoro, Surgery (OR), ED X-ray, Inpatient, Portable.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years' experience, + to have ED x-ray ability and Surgery
• Average # of scans/studies per day: AVG 30ish
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Mckesson, EPIC
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips Siemens): GE, Seimann
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Preet
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? No
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No
• Weekend Requirement Yes, weekend shift
• Holiday Requirement Yes, weekend shift
• Call or Standby requirement? Response time? no call
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Yes, we provide scrubs.
• Scrub color: basic
• Department specific orientation One week m-fri day shift
• Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient EMR

Required Certification:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
• General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS,
• WA Rad Tech License Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements - ARRT RT (R)
