We have partnered with a large Wireless Services Company in Marianna, FL to provide them with a Radar Technician. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Radar Technician:

#1. FCC GROL license required, if candidate does not currently have this, they will be REQUIRED to obtain one within 180 days of starting in the role.

#2. Requires PC skills at a functioning proficiency.

#3. Ability to learn and put to use various aspects of high-tech wireless equipment maintenance.

Requirements of the Radar Technician:

  • FCC GROL License: An FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License is required. If the candidate does not possess this license upon hire, they must obtain it within 180 days. The company will cover the cost of study materials and the exam.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using a PC is necessary.
  • Typing Speed: Must be able to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and apply knowledge in the maintenance of advanced wireless equipment.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is typically required for this role.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Outdoor Work: The role involves working outdoors in Florida's weather conditions.
  • Physical Activity: The job requires frequent walking and bending throughout the day.
  • Professionalism: Ability to effectively represent the company at all organizational levels.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-driven attitude is essential.
  • Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record with minimal infractions over the past five years. The driver's license must not have been suspended within the last four years.

    • Other Key Requirements:

    • Onsite role
    • Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check; drug screen and have a valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
    • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
