Radiation Therapist Opportunity in Omaha, NEJoin a fast-paced team at an area hospital in Omaha, NE where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion.Minimum QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.ARRT (AART/American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by Nebraska.BLS (AHA) certification.Minimum 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist.Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.Ability to operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment and verify treatment plans.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working in a hospital radiation oncology department.Experience with immobilization techniques and patient positioning for external beam treatments.Assignment DetailsShift Hours: 2000-0400.Schedule: 5x8.Orientation Hours: 12.Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.Cancellation policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.Charting System: EPIC.Certifications required: ARRT, BLS (AHA).Must be able to work assigned shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology team.BenefitsFull medical benefits and 401(k) matching plan.Weekly, on-time pay.24/7 recruiter availability by text, phone, or email.Competitive referral bonuses.100% paid housing available.Travel and license reimbursement.Impacting Patient CareAs a Radiation Therapist, you will operate radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records.
