Radiation Therapist Healthcare - ClinicalLocation: Yuma, AZ Salary: $40.82 - $61.23/hourOur client is a respected healthcare organization seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join its oncology team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality radiation treatments while providing compassionate care to patients throughout their treatment journey.What You'll Be Doing Administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives and established protocols. Positioning patients accurately and safely for treatment procedures. Operating and monitoring radiation therapy equipment to ensure precise treatment delivery. Reviewing treatment plans and verifying patient information prior to treatment. Monitoring patients during treatment and responding appropriately to patient needs and concerns. Maintaining accurate treatment records and documentation within the electronic medical record system. Collaborating with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes. Educating patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations. Participating in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.What You'll Need Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience. Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, safety standards, and patient care practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
