Position Overview
Elite Imaging Center is a locally owned, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging facility providing MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and X-Ray services. Our team is committed to high-quality imaging, compassionate patient care, and rapid turnaround times. With locations in Casper and Gillette, we serve Wyoming with excellence and innovation.
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. The Radiologic Technologist will help ensure high-quality imaging, excellent patient care, and efficient workflow across our Casper and Gillette locations.
This position involves rotational coverage for our Orthopedic Walk-in Urgent care, OrthoNow. This includes some occasional Saturdays and evening coverage. May require scheduled travel to our Gillette clinic to support staffing needs on an as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform high-quality radiographic exams following provider orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and radiation safety
- Complete all documentation, exam labeling, and PACS/RIS entries accurately and promptly
- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
Patient Care & Workflow Support
- Exceptional patient care skills are a must for this position
- Greet, prepare, and educate patients before imaging exams
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Assist with scheduling, registration, or patient flow when needed
Procedure Assistance
- Support physicians during imaging-guided orthopedic procedures (as applicable)
- Set up rooms, supplies, and equipment for procedures
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with technologists, medical assistants, nurses, and providers
- Support coworkers during high-volume periods or staff absences
- Positive work culture that emphasizes communication, teamwork, and professional accountability.
- Participate in ongoing training and cross-modality skill development
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Follow state and federal imaging regulations and safety protocols
- Report equipment issues promptly and assist with maintenance coordination
- Support quality assurance initiatives and protocol consistency
Qualifications
- Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist License (ARRT required)
- Experience in additional modalities (MRI, CT, Ultrasound) is highly value
- BLS certification required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Willingness to travel to Gillette occasionally to support operations
Working Conditions
- Full-time position based in Casper, WY
- Rotational Saturday and evening (5-7pm) OrthoNOW coverage
- Occasional travel to Gillette, WY
