Radiologic Technologist – Job Summary St. Elizabeth Hospital in charming Enumclaw, WA seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our incredible Radiology team. Passions for advanced imaging technology and commitment to exceptional care make this an exciting career adventure. Responsibilities Perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures in clinics, emergency rooms, special procedures rooms, surgery, or patient rooms to assist physicians in diagnosing disease and injuries. Operate radiographic equipment to produce recorded images of the body, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and adherence to department protocols and regulatory requirements. Explain procedures to patients, respond to questions, and employ techniques to comfort and protect patients from unnecessary radiation. Maintain accurate patient records, document charts with pertinent information, and advise nursing staff of significant changes in patient condition while in diagnostic imaging. Perform incidental general office duties: answering phones, scheduling, filing, maintaining records, ordering supplies, participating in equipment inventory, and training radiology technology students. Essential Functions Prepare and operate radiology equipment according to physician orders and department protocols. Clean equipment after each use and deliver patient care for all age groups while performing radiological exams/procedures. Respond to emergency situations consistent with scope of authority and act as liaison between patient and radiologist. Job Requirements – Education & Experience Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology. One year of recent related work experience (practical education/training) demonstrating required job knowledge, skills, and abilities. Preferred work experience involving current technical aspects of patient care in a radiology department. Licensure & Certifications Medical Radiographer: WA (MRAD:WA) Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS‑CPR) through the American Heart Association.
