Overview To provide a specialized image of a body part for purposes of medical interpretation. Responsibilities Using medical imaging equipment to produce images of tissues and vessels. Preparing equipment as needed for use, positioning patients for imaging, ensuring patient safety during exams, quality control monitoring of equipment, and assessing lead aprons for annual inspection and reports. Qualifications ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology required. NJ radiology license required. Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience strongly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
