Radiologic Technologist - DEXA TechnologistThe Radiologic Technologist - DEXA Technologist performs bone density and radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician. Radiology Technologist candidates with minimal or no DEXA experience are welcome to apply. On-the-job training and cross-training opportunities are available.ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiology procedures and bone density in a manner to comply with state and federal regulationsAssists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the departmentMaintains documentation of patient testing informationCompletes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology ManagerAssists in maintaining a clean and safe work environmentRequirementsAssociate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related areaValid state Radiologic Technologist licenseRegistered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Candidates with minimal or no DEXA experience are welcome to apply. On-the-job training and cross-training opportunities are available.Previous Bone Density experience preferred.CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certificationEffective written and verbal communication.Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others.Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning.Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience. We offer the following benefits to those who are benefit eligible (30+ hours a week): medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long and short term disability, 401k program with company match and profit sharing, wellness program, health savings accounts, flexible savings accounts, ID protection plan and accident, critical illness and hospital benefits.
