Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT) – Pennsylvania


Job Summary

Harvest Talent Solutions has an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT) in Pennsylvania to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays. This role provides high-quality imaging services and technical support to ensure patient safety, accurate results, and smooth departmental operations.


Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: 12-hour shifts | Days/Nights

Location: New Freedom, PA

Compensation: $36.00 to $49.00 per hour, based on experience, shift, and qualifications. Shift differentials available for nights and weekends.


Essential Job Functions

  • Perform imaging exams (X-Ray, CT) at a technical level not requiring constant supervision
  • Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and other staff
  • Operate and maintain all imaging equipment, including X-Ray, CT, CR readers, and PACS
  • Follow all policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, notifying the physician of results as required
  • Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse direction
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per established procedures, including COLA and CLIA compliance
  • Ensure an adequate supply of reagents and consumables to perform quality testing
  • Perform routine and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment
  • Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and/or split sample analysis as required
  • Retain records of all analytic activities for a minimum of two years
  • Participate in all assigned quality assessment activities and document results for review


Other Job Functions

  • Serve as ER Technician as needed
  • Travel to all facility locations in Pennsylvania as required
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, or company-sponsored/mandated meetings
  • Float to alternate locations based on staffing needs and patient care requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and patient care operations


Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiology, preferred
  • Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist as required by the state of Pennsylvania
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, required
  • CT certification required within 12 months of hire in Pennsylvania
  • Certifications may be obtained prior to starting if not currently held
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
  • Minimum 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience preferred; 1+ years of CT experience preferred
  • 1+ years emergency room experience preferred
  • Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer hardware/software, and PACS
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
