Peds and ortho experiencePay Range: $26.55 - $39.85Major Responsibilities:Determination of appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices. Operates radiology equipment appropriately.Adherence to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care.Coordination of quality control tasks.Education/Experience Required:IDNS license. Graduate from an accredited AMA School of RadiologyKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Knowledge of Health Information System. Basic knowledge of radiology equipment.CPR certification Licensed by IDNS. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered (ARRT)Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Able to make independent professional decisions pertaining to high quality patient care. High degree of technical skills Must be able to function with minimal assistance in performing job activities. Ability to deal with extremely ill patients. Ability to lift and/or move patients. Ability to work under stressful conditions, in difficult situations. May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases. Ability to work during site hours of operation.If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
