Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join the dedicated team at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work in a highly satisfied, physician-owned facility with a culture of excellence.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, daytime shifts.
  • Rotating on-call schedule.
  • Shifts range from 6:30 AM (early) to 9:00/9:30 AM (later).
  • No weekends, holidays, or night shifts.

Facility Highlights:

  • Ten operating rooms.
  • 575 625 surgeries per month.
  • No emergency room attachment, ensuring all surgeries are scheduled.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech Expanse

Key Responsibilities
  • Master radiologic positioning and techniques.
  • Operate large C-arms in operating rooms and pain clinics.
  • Use portable X-ray equipment in operating and recovery rooms.
  • Submit high-quality images and accurate documentation to PACS, ensuring correct lead markers, patient data, and history.
  • Prepare contrast media and medications in compliance with state, federal, and practice regulations.
Qualifications

Licensure/Certification:

  • BLS Provider Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required prior to start.
  • ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist in Radiography) required prior to start.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of Wisconsin.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience, or
  • Associate's or technical degree in a relevant field.
