JOB TITLE (#2860): Radiologist / Hybrid - Valley Stream, NY

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Radiologist to fill an opening with a Primary Care facility located in Valley Stream, New York.

Responsibilities of the Radiologist:

• Evaluate patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
• Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
• Inform patients about the medical imaging process.
• Use devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
• Perform or direct radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.
• Work with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
• Interpret the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
• Communicate and discuss results and diagnoses with physicians.
• Compile written reports of results and diagnoses.
• Follow medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary

Requirements

• Must have an active NY State License
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Must be comfortable with MRI (Most cases is under MRI)
• Must be comfortable in running the clinic (PC) remotely and do visit if needed only

Benefits

• The salary for this position is $75 - $100 / reading (Negotiable)
• This is a Full-time or a Part-time position with flexible schedule (90% remote but would need to visit the clinic at least twice a month)
• Benefits are competitive and negotiable (depending on the Business Terms of Agreement)
