Job title:- Radiology - Interventional Radiology

Location:- Marble falls, TX

- Conducting interventional radiology (IR) procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.

- Performing these procedures for disease and injury diagnosis on both ambulatory and hospital patients.

- Following established protocols for all procedures.

- Communicating with patients to identify their service requirements and provide information about the procedure.

- Properly preparing patients and equipment for procedures.

- Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in the work area and equipment.

- Adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.

- Working with engineers and physicists to optimize operational capabilities of equipment.

- Screening individuals entering the department in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

- Performing tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight.

- Maintaining current knowledge and skills for proper care of various age groups.

- Must have graduated from an Accredited Program and have less than 1 year of experience.

- Must hold necessary certifications and licenses, such as ARRT-R Radiography, Basic Life Support, and Medical Radiologic Tech.

- Should be certified in ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography, ARRT Interventional Radiography, or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography within two years of hire date.
