Radiology Mammo Tech Apply
- Perform advanced Breast Imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Execute procedures requested by physicians or other licensed providers for the diagnosis of disease and injury.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Communicate with patients to identify their service requirements, ensure the correct exam is performed and establish rapport.
- Prepare patients and areas for procedures, including positioning patients and adjusting equipment.
- Adhere to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols and techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational capabilities of equipment, and report any issues to management.
- Assist in maintaining supplies inventory.
- Screen individuals entering the department according to approved policies and procedures.
- Obtain, verify and maintain all relevant documentation.
- Maintain medical imaging records in the appropriate system and according to department policies.
- Provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
- Administer first aid and use emergency cart when necessary.
- Serve as a preceptor by providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.
- Be available for call, if required.
- Must be a graduate of an Accredited Program.
- Must have ARRT-M Mammography (ARRT-M) Certification/License/Registration.
