divh2Radiology Technologist - Full Time - 3rd Shift Variable/h2pPosition Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision./ppEssential Functions and Responsibilities:/pol start=1liGives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met./liliOperates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray./liliPositions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician./liliAccurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results./liliCompletes quality assurance processes and practices radiation safety in order to reduce exposure to patients, staff and self./li/olpRequired:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliGraduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology./liliCertified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)./liliCurrent BLS certification./li/ulpPreferred:/pulliAssociate degree in radiology./li/ulpAdditional Information:/pulliSchedule: Full-time/liliDaily Work Times: 6:00pm - 6:30am Variable/liliHours Per Pay Period: 72/liliOn Call: Yes/liliWeekends: Yes/li/ul/div
