Radiology TechnologistAdvanced Surgical Care of Clearwater, LLC is hiring a Radiology Technologist.Welcome to Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater, LLC. USPI Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater is seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team. Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job Summary:The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures. Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.Required Skills:Must possess independent decision making skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.AART Registered and CPR Current.Must have a current Florida state license (MRT)Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission RegulationsEducation, Training and Experience Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.- Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred.- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.- Must possess independent decision making skills.- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.- Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.Education and Experience: 1-2 years experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
