We seek a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join a respected acute care hospital in Northern California. Working under the supervision of the Department Director and Radiology Supervisor—and in collaboration with radiologists—this role performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using age-specific criteria and established departmental standards.

The Radiology Technologist plays an essential role in providing high-quality imaging services while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, accuracy, and comfort. The position also serves as a clinical and technical resource for less experienced staff, supporting a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to radiation protection standards and departmental policy.

  • Deliver professional, compassionate service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and peers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.

  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technologists and students.

  • Participate in rotating on-call assignments to ensure around-the-clock imaging coverage.

  • Travel to designated off-site locations to perform imaging studies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the AMA or equivalent).

  • Licensure/Certification:

    • Current California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).

    • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a hospital-based radiologic technologist preferred.

    • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $95,950 – $120,432, commensurate with experience.

  • Employment Type: Full-time, exempt.

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement package; relocation assistance possible for the ideal candidate.

  • Other: Interview travel reimbursement available; no bonus or commission structure.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a professional who is fully licensed and certified (CRT, ARRT, BLS), demonstrates strong technical expertise, and brings at least one year of hospital-based imaging experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and dedicated to providing patient-centered diagnostic care.

Why This Area Is a Great Place to Live and Work
The Northern California coastal region combines stunning natural landscapes with a welcoming, community-focused lifestyle.
