We work collaboratively to provide compassionate care and utilize evidence based practice to improve outcomes to every patient, every time.Job TitleRadiologic TechnologistResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision of a radiologist and/or appropriate physician, performs radiographic procedures.Operates x-ray equipment, fixed or mobile, develops film.Prepares x-ray room, equipment, supplies and medications.Provides patient services using imaging modalities.RequirementsGraduate from a program approved by N.Y.S. Dept. of Health, with all associated clinical hours.Must be licensed/registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Must have current licensure to practice in N.Y.S. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.Special RequirementsMust have good working knowledge of radiographic anatomy, radiation physics, and film chemistry.
