Technical Customer Service Representative
Position Details:
Location: Morton Grove, IL (on-site, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm)
Role Overview:
- Order entry and processing for site manufacturing fire pumps/water pumps (not product support; project management handled by a different team)
- Handle customer communication, respectful interaction, resolve issues, and coordinate with internal departments
- Candidates must be computer savvy and proficient with internal systems
Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
- 3+ years customer service experience (technical/B2B preferred)
- 2 years college/technical schooling OR 5 years technical work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM (SAP or Salesforce preferred)
- Strong customer advocacy, technical aptitude/maths, independent work style
Desirable:
- Proficiency in a second language
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills, teamwork and professionalism
