This is a HOT need, it's not the trickiest skillset in the world but it requires onsite/hybrid work so it's been a challenge. Let me know if anyone on your teams have a strong React Developer that would relocate to eastern Pennsylvania. It is a hybrid role, so candidates need to be onsite 2-3 days / week in the greater Reading, PA area.

Interview Process:

1^st round: Video Interview w/ Hiring Manager

2^nd round: Online Coding assessment involving React, JavaScript, etc-they'll be given a design and they will be tasked with translating with React and writing some use cases

3^rd round: Technical Screening with Architect & Peer Manager

Additional NOTES:

• React, RESTful API, Figma, Storybook, AWS
• Must be able to integrate webservices integrate with them & interact/manipulate data
• AWS: Experience deploying code into pipeline process or internally into a linux server

Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer proficient in Vue.js or React to join the Engineering Team. As a front-end engineer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements for customer facing applications. Your primary focus will be on building efficient, reusable front-end components using Vue.js or React, and ensuring the application's responsiveness and performance. You will work closely with backend developers and UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features using Vue.js or React.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate with other engineers on the team.

Integrate front-end applications with backend services and ensure they adhere to Vue or React services.

Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

Experience with Vue.js or React and its core principles.

Familiarity with state management (Vuex, Redux) and asynchronous programming.

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSocket's.

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).

Experience with UI/UX Tools such as Figma for translating design to web.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).

Experience with DevOps processes regarding the automation, deployment, and build of front-end applications.

Experience with accessibility and compliance of front-end applications around WCAG.

Front-end monitoring tools for the web such as Datadog, sentry, or other comparable tools

Experience with front-end analytics such as Google Analytics or Mix Panel.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
