Compensation: $65k-$85k + Benefits


About the Opportunity

A well-established, highly respected law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support its Transactions practice group. This role plays a critical part in managing commercial real estate deals from initial intake through closing and post-closing, working closely with attorneys and clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle.


What You’ll Do

  • Support attorneys in handling commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
  • Review and analyze:
  • Title commitments and title reports
  • Surveys and legal descriptions
  • Draft and prepare:
  • Title objections and commitments
  • Closing documents (deeds, affidavits, closing statements, financing documents, etc.)
  • Coordinate and manage real estate closings, including:
  • Scheduling and logistics
  • Reviewing lender closing packages
  • Preparing closing binders
  • Handle funding and disbursements, including trust account coordination
  • File and record legal documents (deeds, UCCs, mortgages, etc.)
  • Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and other stakeholders
  • Track transactions for 1099 reporting
  • Assist with post-closing matters, title updates, and policy issuance


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting real estate transactions in a legal, title, or lending environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of real estate experience in a law firm, title company, or lender
  • Experience with title/settlement software (SoftPro preferred)
  • Familiarity with e-recording platforms and UCC filings
  • Paralegal certificate, college degree, or notary designation a plus
