Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Seattle law firm to identify an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy transactional practice. This position will work closely with attorneys and clients on commercial real estate financing matters from due diligence through closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, revise, and maintain loan and financing documents for commercial real estate transactions
Conduct litigation, bankruptcy, UCC, and other due diligence searches related to financing matters
Prepare, file, and manage UCC financing statements and related filings
Coordinate transaction closings, including preparation of closing documents and closing binders
Review, organize, and maintain due diligence materials and transaction files
Ensure executed documents are properly collected, organized, and distributed following closing
Track deadlines and assist with transaction management throughout the transaction lifecycle
Support attorneys with additional transactional and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience supporting a high-volume transactional, real estate, finance, or commercial lending practice
Experience reviewing title reports, surveys, and other real estate due diligence materials
Strong document drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and PDF editing software
Experience working with document management systems preferred
Excellent project management, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple matters simultaneously
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and handling occasional overtime as needed
