JOB DESCRIPTION:

The receiving position verifies & keeps records on incoming shipments by performing the following duties to quality & productivity standards.

Receiver Details:
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $17.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)
  • Operates lift trucks, forklifts or hand trucks to convey, move or host materials to proper departments, areas or of of trucks.
  • Unload trucks using a scanner or pick list generated by supervisor/manager.
  • Performs all computer functions necessary to complete job.
  • Unpacks, examines & routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages & corresponds with shipper to rectify damages & shortages.
  • Supports the received goods produced & supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
Receiver Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Must have communication proficiency, organization skills & technical capacity.
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
