Shipping/Receiving Associate - Aerospace Accurus Aerospace Tulsa, 12716 East Pine Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States of America Job Description Posted Friday, February 20, 2026 at 7:00 AM Responsibilities Conduct a visual inspection of all incoming and outgoing, processed and unprocessed parts Effectively communicate with the Quality Department to ensure that all finished parts shipping are properly identified, and proper shop orders are matched to parts being shipped Maintain traceability on all parts, including those with special identification Mark parts as required by blueprints and/or picture identification books; apply clear coat over part marking identification as required Communicate with Quality Department that all finished parts are ready for final inspection Properly wrap and pack parts to ensure that no damage will occur during shipping (using foam end protectors, paper, bubble wrap, foam, cardboard dividers, poly tubing, desiccant, etc.) Touch up parts with proper paint to areas that may require touch up Contact carrier representative to make arrangements for pickups for outgoing shipments Fill out bills of lading (electronic or hard copy) Record shipment data such as tracking number, weight, part quantity, shipping carton quantity, carrier; submit to supervisor for data entry Print out a copy of the pickup summary report for both UPS and FEDEX at the end of each scheduled workday Maintain a record of all reports printed for reference Locate all finished and detail parts into a warehouse location, properly record warehouse location; turn work order to supervisor to review and enter into visual Other tasks as assigned within or outside of your department Essential Mental Functions & Skills Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Problem solving skills: Will assist in increased output and how to fix errors. Attention to detail: Keen attention to detail is required Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Ability to work in an unfatigued state. Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance. Ability to quickly store and recall instructions in one’s short-term memory. Ability to concentrate. Ability to cope with sudden changes in surrounding and/or emergency situations and/or alarms. Demonstrated caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety. Ability to rapidly respond. Ability to perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment. Not mentally or physically impaired from any cause that can adversely affect ability to safely and competently perform required functions.
