Receiving AssociateWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock levels. This role requires familiarity with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The Receiving Associate plays a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring inventory accuracy for e-commerce and distribution channels.DutiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400 and MRP softwareSafely operate equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goodsAccurately stock received items in designated storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and organizationAssist with order picking, packing, and loading for outbound shipments using RF scanners and order fulfillment proceduresMaintain accurate inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systemsSupport shipping & receiving processes by preparing items for shipment and coordinating with carriersPerform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging requirementsEnsure safety protocols are followed during all handling activities to prevent accidents or damageQualificationsPrior experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution centers preferredProficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification is a plusFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, RF scanners, and MRP softwareStrong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracyAbility to perform basic math calculations accuratelyPhysical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment safelyBasic understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes including picking & packing and order fulfillment workflowsReliable team player with good communication skills and a safety-conscious attitudeBenefits of working through Westside Personnel at this positionFull time, 40 hours a week position, Monday - FridayPAID WEEKLYTemporary to permanent position - hired on probationary periodAdditional benefits through Westside Personnel are available to long term employees; referral bonuses, safety bonuses, healthcare, holiday, and vacation after requirement is metRaises
