Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Associate (Product Acceptance Specialist) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods and inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in production or assembly environments with some experience warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and seamless warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspections for visual and dimensional. Previous experience reading blueprints or with calipers is a plus!
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, Bill of Lading (BOL), and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Load and unload trucks utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks
- Stock received items accurately in designated storage locations, ensuring proper organization for easy retrieval
- Inspect materials for quality and order correctness. Complete appropriate non-conformance reports as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements of all materials and supplies for the production floor.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all handling and transportation activities
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging requirements
- Perform writing for inspection and nonconformance reports. Review supplier certification for conformance to requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or inventory related roles
- Previous experience with warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and order picker
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory software (MRP) systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order processing
- Proficient with reading and writing for reports, Bill of Lading, and other cross-team communication
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Education:
- A High School Diploma is required.
Experience:
- Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.
Additional information:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 2nd shift (3pm-12:30am)
- Pay rate: $17 - $19/hr.
- Location: Seal Beach, CA
