We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our shipping and receiving team. This role involves managing inventory, inspecting incoming shipments, and ensuring all products are logged accurately into our system. The Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that orders are met accurately and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Validation that inbound goods match the purchase order packing list and other item specifics
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
- Reporting nonconformance issues through warehouse system and following up for resolutions
- Entering received goods into the system after the three way match has been performed (Packing List, Purchase Order, Physical Count all match)
- Flexibility and to help in other departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
