APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Tarentum, PA looking to add a Receiving Clerk to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage and track shipments, update order statuses, and ensure accurate inventory and documentation while maintaining professional communication with vendors and drivers. Sounds great, right?
What’s in it for you:
  1. 1st shift opportunity – Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Must be available for OT as needed
  • Competitive hourly rate at $19.00/hr.
  • Contract-to-hire position

What your day will look like:
  1. Data entry for incoming and outgoing shipments
  2. Updating order statuses in our system
  3. Keeping accurate log sheets, scanning inventory, and conducting counts
  4. Interacting with vendors and drivers in a professional manner
  5. Monitoring inventory levels and placing restock orders as needed
  6. Handling customer inquiries and providing updates on order status
  7. Organizing and filing shipment documentation
  8. Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks as required
  9. Ensuring all shipments are properly labeled and prepared for transport
  10. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries
What we are looking for:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. 1+ year of clerical experience combined with basic computer skills
  3. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  4. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred
