Receptionist Apply
The receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients and visitors of the Health Department. The position is 15 -20 hours per week with a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting in person and on the telephone, answering questions and referring questions to other staff members.
- Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Receives mail, documents, packages and courier deliveries and distributes items.
- Performs routine clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Process walk-in birth certificates requests.
Requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with the public and employees.
- Basic word processing, spreadsheet and database skills.
- Ability to problem solve and be a part of the team.
- Ability to be flexible and multi-task.
- Dependable and responsible.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Spanish bilingual preferred.
Benefits
- Starting pay $11,575 - $15,444 annually.
- Eligible for paid time off and holiday pay based on hours worked.
