Supervisory Duties: No 

 

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional, welcoming environment. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations and supporting administrative tasks.  

 

Responsibilities / Essential Functions 

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival 
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department 
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls 
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area 
  • Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries 
  • Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information 
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation 
  • Support the HR department with additional tasks as assigned 

 

Key Skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email systems) 
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure 
  • Customer service orientation 

 

Required Experience  

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required) 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred) 
  • Familiarity with office equipment and software (e.g., Excel, Word, Adobe, phone systems)
