Quality Paint and Coatings is a leader in the painting and coating industry located in the Fox Valley. We specialize in Industrial, Commercial, and Military paint and coating applications. Our team is looking for qualified candidates to help us as we grow and take on new challenges.



SUMMARY

This position will provide general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks including answering incoming calls, managing the reception area, mail, requisitioning supplies, organizing office communication and activities on a day-to-day basis. The full time Administrative Assistant oversees and manages all office procedures and other tasks as assigned by the Master Scheduler.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all aspects of general office coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of staff, company, vendor and customer information
  • Interact with customers, vendors and visitors
  • Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff members
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and e-mails
  • Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, faxing, mailing and filing
  • May conduct research, compile data and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to the Master Scheduler and other staff members
  • Set up and coordinate meetings as requested by the Master Scheduler
  • Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work
  • Other duties as assigned by the Master Scheduler

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 1 year of office or customer service experience
