Unique Travel is a Virtuoso Travel Agency that provides clients with customized worldwide travel opportunities. The Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant provides general support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Essential Functions:
*Maintains detailed Travel Advisor and department directories.
* Welcomes visitors by greeting them and notifying the appropriate Travel Advisor of the visitors presence and directing the visitor to the appropriate office, if necessary.
* Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturers instructions for house phone and console operations.
* Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate Travel Advisor.
*Transfers a call to a Travel Advisors voice mailbox when the Travel Advisor is unavailable, unless to answer the inquiry.
* Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
* Provides callers with information such as company address, directions, phone numbers, website, and related information.
* Receives, sorts and forward incoming mail.
* Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services. (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
* Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies.
* Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
* Assists with ordering and restocking brochures.
* Assists Travel Advisors with bookings, calling in payments, overall support for their clients, etc.
Competencies, Skills, and More:
* Schedule is Monday- Friday 11-4
* General office experience
* Multi-Line telephone experience is a plus
* Travel Industry knowledge
* Knowledge of geography
* Flexibility
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Proficient in all Microsoft Word Programs, Google Apps, PDF, basic technical troubleshooting

The candidate must reside in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, or Lake Worth Florida
Experience and Education:
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* At least 1 year of experience in Administrative or Receptionist work
