Access Services is seeking a part-time Recovery Coach for our Community Residential Rehabilitation Group Home located in Allentown, PA! You will have the opportunity to assist individuals with mental illness in their homes and in their community. You will support individuals through a variety of tasks and activities using creative problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support program alumni in managing crisis and connecting with a social network.
  • Maintain a cooperative and caring attitude toward others with a view of seeing the needs of others as more important than your own.
  • Meet with Assistant Director for supervision on a regular basis.
  • Help ensure the highest quality of care to individuals in helping them meet their needs.
  • Ensure own proper conduct and fair representation of Access Services.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with personnel from state and local agencies to coordinate the delivery of services for individuals.
  • Report any operational or staff concerns according to Access Services’ established policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely communication to the Assistant Director regarding the individual.
  • Maintain daily log and other documentation as requested by the supervisor/mentor in Evolv.
  • Attend all necessary meetings related to support activities.
  • Complete personal care as needed.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school or GED required, with Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field including special education, psychology or social work preferred.
  • Certification: Not required. Certification from a County CPS program welcomed.
  • Experience: One year direct care experience with individuals with mental illness required.
  • Valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle, and adequate car insurance
  • Two (2) years of driving experience, no driver’s license suspensions in the last 48 months

We are currently looking to fill the following shifts:

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 3pm to 11pm.
  • This shift can be split to make it PT or all hours can be taken together for FT.

Benefits

Compensation:

  • The starting rate for this position is $17.50 with the following differentials:
    • $1 for M-F for the 3-11 shift and 11-7
    • $1 for Saturday and Sunday 7-3
    • $2 for Saturday and Sunday 3-11 and 11-7

Part-Time benefits include:

  • Mileage reimbursement and paid travel between worksites.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
