Reviews the new job descriptions and provides feedback
Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards.
Creates and monitors job postings for respective departments.
Verifies candidates meet qualifications and conducts screening for open roles and creates candidate pipeline.
Schedules interviews: provides hiring manager with all documentation and follows through until a decision is received.
Conducts background, reference checks, and all onboarding documentation.
Utilizes and manages the Applicant Tracking System through the HRIS.
Stays current on recruitment trends and best practices.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Participates in job fairs and other recruitment events to develop community partnerships.
Establishes and fosters community partnerships to assist with recruitment opportunities
Acts as a liaison between team and other programs to drive staffing and retention
Provide and present data to director to show progress in vacancy rates and time to fill reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years recruiting experience or 7+ years’ experience recruiting experience.
Extensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Programs, Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Must be able to display a high level of discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential employee information with superior emotional intelligence.
Must be able to travel (within Suffolk County) and attend recruitment events as needed
