Position Title: Recruiter
Location: Bryan, TX
Assignment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 / year DOE
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday Onsite

Description:
- Meeting with senior management to understand the job requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
- Source, recruit, interview, recommend qualified candidates to the hiring managers, and schedule interviews with selected candidates.
- Ability to negotiate with candidates, hiring managers, and placement agencies, while adhering to company guidelines.
- Check candidate’s references and credentials to verify experience and background.
- Determine alternative recruitment strategy for challenging searches, including utilizing external placement agencies.
- Work closely with established placement agencies for approved temporary and direct-hire needs.
- Assist Director of HR to identify additional placement agencies, to assess agency agreements, and to negotiate competitive agreement terms.
- Partner with local universities to enhance student talent pipeline for the company.
- Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
- Build a database of contacts through social media and other means.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates for networking and hiring purposes.
- Collect and analyze market data to understand fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
- Assists HR Department with online applicants when necessary.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews and interaction with senior management and placement agencies.
- Excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
