Position Title: Recruiter

Location: Bryan, TX

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 / year DOE

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday Onsite

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


Description:

  • Meeting with senior management to understand the job requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Source, recruit, interview, recommend qualified candidates to the hiring managers, and schedule interviews with selected candidates.
  • Ability to negotiate with candidates, hiring managers, and placement agencies, while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Check candidate’s references and credentials to verify experience and background.
  • Determine alternative recruitment strategy for challenging searches, including utilizing external placement agencies.
  • Work closely with established placement agencies for approved temporary and direct-hire needs.
  • Assist Director of HR to identify additional placement agencies, to assess agency agreements, and to negotiate competitive agreement terms.
  • Partner with local universities to enhance student talent pipeline for the company.
  • Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Build a database of contacts through social media and other means.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates for networking and hiring purposes.
  • Collect and analyze market data to understand fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Assists HR Department with online applicants when necessary.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews and interaction with senior management and placement agencies.
  • Excellent initiative and organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
