We are an industrial textile manufacturer, best known for our federal government contracting work and have produced several thousand national stock numbered (NSN) lines for a variety of federal agencies, large and small OEM organizations, as well as individuals who want to see their product taken from concept to product. With over 250 industrial sewing machines (single needle, double needle, box "X", bar tackers and programables) and several radio frequency, hot wedge and hot fabric welders, we're prepared to manufacture to established product configuration. We also offer a full complement of engineering services. Whether you need design assistance, prototypes or product evaluation, our experienced engineers are ready to put our CAD system to work for you. If a fabric can be cut, sewn, glued, snapped, buttoned, buckled, cinched, clipped, riveted, welded or otherwise bonded, we can fashion it into a product to fit your specifications. Job Summary The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and attract high-quality candidates to support production and operational goals. Supervisory Responsibilities None Duties/Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruiting Manage end-to-end recruitment for all positions Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and hiring priorities Develop and post job advertisements on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other relevant job boards Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach Candidate Screening & Selection Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers Administer and evaluate pre-employment assessments where applicable Conduct reference checks and support background screening processes Recruiting Strategy & Pipeline Development Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for high-turnover and critical roles Utilize proactive sourcing techniques for hard-to-fill positions (e.g., maintenance technicians, skilled labor) Partner with local workforce development agencies Compliance & Documentation Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws (including EEO and OFCCP if applicable) Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Support affirmative action and reporting requirements Employer Branding & Candidate Experience Promote Weckworth Manufacturing as an employer of choice Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee workflow. Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements Education and Experience 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
