We’re a technology-first manufacturing startup that’s revolutionizing how composite tooling and parts are made for the aerospace and defense industries. Our customers are developing tomorrow's high-tech products, and we are building technology to accelerate their success.
As our teams expand across engineering, operations, and production, we’re looking for an experienced recruiter who has supported manufacturing environments to help drive our next phase of growth. What You’ll Do: - Own end-to-end, full-cycle recruiting for roles across Production, Operations and Software Engineering verticals.
- Meet with hiring managers for recruiting intakes, post roles in our ATS, source passive candidates, handle first-round interviews and deliver a positive candidate experience.
- Schedule and run interview feedback meetings with hiring teams.
- Discuss and negotiate compensation with candidates, extend offers, and guide the offer process to close.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
- Support hiring teams by developing interview plans and educating on best practices for interviewing.
- Continuously refine the hiring process to ensure high interview-to-offer ratios.
- Own sourcing and engagement strategies to identify and attract top and passive talent through diverse channels.
- Represent Layup Parts at recruiting events, career fairs, and campus engagements.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create content for our careers page and social recruitment campaigns.
- Be awesome! Be the kind of person you want to work with!
- 4+ year’s experience sourcing and engaging talent, or Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year experience in recruiting.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
- Passion for improving systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable in fast paced environments with shifting needs and a high volume of priorities.
- Understanding of compliance and hiring best practices.
- Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments.
- Ability and interest in scaling recruitment processes from the ground up.
- Familiarity recruiting machinists, composite technicians, or similar positions.
Final compensation is based on your experience, skills, and what you bring to the table.
