Healthcare Recruiter The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for their assigned job openings. This role partners closely with Human Resources and operational leadership to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring outcomes. The position is based in Chicago and requires in‑person work 5‑days a week. Duties/Responsibilities Leads and manages the full‑cycle recruitment process for clinical and non‑clinical positions. Partners with HR designees and hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and position requirements. Responds to new applicants through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate reviews, or dispositioning unqualified applicants. Sources candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and candidate mining strategies. Builds and maintains talent pipelines to support ongoing and future staffing needs. Collaborates with hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies. Assists with background checks and onboarding coordination when needed. Monitors and analyzes ATS and HRIS reports to ensure data accuracy and process adherence. Manages sponsored job postings within budget guidelines and recommends adjustments as necessary. Supports retention efforts by maintaining communication with new hires and reviewing feedback trends. Leads position request workflows and assists with recruitment‑related ticket resolution. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned. Abilities/Skills Knowledge of healthcare recruitment practices and HR fundamentals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required. Travel as needed to different facilities in Illinois. Healthcare Recruiter Education and Experience Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferred Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms preferred. Knowledge of employment law and healthcare hiring regulations preferred.
