Qualifications: 2+ years of recruiting experience; open to earlier-career recruiters eager to learn Background supporting construction, skilled trades, or other blue-collar environments strongly preferred Comfortable managing a high volume of open requisitions (50+ at a time) Experience with applicant tracking systems; ability to quickly learn new platforms (experience with Workable, Indeed, or UKG is a plus) Experience recruiting across multiple states or supporting seasonal hiring initiatives is a plus Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work independently without heavy oversight Job Description: Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Contract Recruiter for a 3–4 month onsite assignment beginning in late March. This role will provide coverage during a team member’s leave and will support full‑cycle recruitment efforts across multiple states. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and communication may be informal. You will play a key role in keeping hiring timelines on track, delivering a strong candidate experience, and partnering closely with leadership to meet workforce demands. There is potential for longer‑term consideration depending on business needs. Construction / Infrastructure Services Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start/end times available) 100% onsite About Our Client: Our client is a well‑established organization specializing in roadway and pavement maintenance services. They support municipalities, commercial properties, and other partners with preventative maintenance and infrastructure preservation solutions. The team operates in a collaborative, hands‑on environment with a strong operational focus. Key Responsibilities: Manage full‑cycle recruitment for positions across Arizona, Nevada, and Texas Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and other creative channels Screen and interview applicants to assess skills, experience, and cultural alignment Partner with hiring leaders to clarify role requirements and adjust search strategies as needs evolve Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and stakeholders Prepare and extend offers, ensuring timely turnaround Track applicant activity within the ATS and maintain organized recruitment records Support onboarding activities in partnership with HR when needed Contribute to process improvements and assist other departments during downtime Relaxed and team‑oriented office environment Flexible dress code Frequent in‑office lunches and employee celebrations High level of autonomy with minimal micromanagement Private office space during the assignment Reports directly to the HR Director Single in‑person interview process (typically conducted on Fridays) Assignment begins March 23rd or March 30th Hiring manager unavailable March 11–12 and March 16–18 Strong chance of extended employment depending on workload and team structure Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
