Recruitment/Communications Consultant — Temporary Through June 2026 Position Type: Temporary / Recruitment / Communications Consultant Date Posted: 2/7/2026 Location: District-Wide Description The District seeks an experienced consultant to work under the direction of the Human Resources Director to strengthen educator recruitment through June. This role will focus on expanding recruitment outreach, building college-to-career pipelines, and enhancing recruitment communications for teachers and Education Support Professionals (ESPs). Responsibilities include identifying high-impact networking and advertising venues, developing partnerships with local colleges and universities, advising on recruitment messaging and promotional strategies, and recommending effective and diverse job-posting platforms. The consultant will support both immediate hiring needs and the development of sustainable recruitment practices. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in educator recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce development, or related human capital initiatives, preferably in a K–12, higher education, or public-sector setting. Experience developing or supporting college-to-career pipelines, higher education partnerships, or educator preparation pathways. Knowledge of effective recruitment strategies, including outreach, networking, advertising, and use of diverse job posting platforms. Ability to advise on recruitment communications and messaging to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with district leadership, higher education partners, and external vendors. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet agreed-upon timelines in a consulting role. Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check (C.O.R.I.). Deliverables By the conclusion of the engagement (through June), the consultant will provide: Recommended high-impact recruitment, networking, and advertising venues, including diverse job posting platforms. Proposed framework for sustainable college-to-career pipelines with local colleges and universities for teachers and Education Support Professionals (ESPs), including direct outreach to prospective partner institutions, initiation of partnership discussions, and actionable next steps for implementation. Recommendations for recruitment communications and advertising strategies, including guidance on promotional materials and messaging aligned with District hiring needs.
