Role Description

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving day-to-day operational excellence across assigned properties and serves as the “General Manager of General Managers,” providing leadership, direction, and accountability to property leadership teams.

HMP intentionally maintains smaller regional structures to ensure a highly hands-on approach, allowing Regional Operations Managers to provide consistent, daily support and oversight to their hotels. This role is primarily field-based, with approximately 75% of time spent on property supporting hotel teams and 25% at the corporate office.

The Regional Operations Manager partners closely with hotel leadership to achieve financial and performance goals, ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include actively managing labor, supporting and developing teams, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring consistency and accountability across the portfolio.


Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills
  • Experience in hotel operations, team oversight, and budget management
  • Strong operational and process improvement mindset
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accountability
  • Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
  • Flexibility to support operations as needed, including weekends and holidays
