Prime Healthcare is seeking a Regional Physician Recruiter to support the recruitment and placement of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) across assigned facilities and medical groups within the region. This position serves as a strategic partner to hospital and physician leadership, leading recruitment efforts designed to attract top clinical talent and support organizational growth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare recruiter with strong sourcing, relationship‑building, and candidate management skills who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead full‑cycle recruitment for physicians and advanced practice providers, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
Partner with hospital executives, physician leaders, and operational stakeholders to identify provider staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, residency and fellowship programs, and professional associations.
Coordinate candidate interviews, site visits, and recruitment‑related events.
Present employment opportunities and facilitate candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate tracking, and search activity within recruitment systems.
Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to leadership regarding open searches and hiring outcomes.
Represent Prime Healthcare at recruitment events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum three (3) years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare, physician recruitment, provider recruitment, or executive search.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience managing multiple recruitment searches simultaneously.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office applications, and recruitment technologies.
Preferred
Physician and/or advanced practice provider recruitment experience within a hospital, health system, or medical group.
Knowledge of physician workforce planning, provider compensation models, and healthcare recruitment trends.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare leaders.
Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement skills.
Effective negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $72,800.00 to $101,712.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
