They are seeking highly motivated and results-oriented sales professionals to drive their growth initiatives. We are expanding the number of Regional Director of Sales Leaders all across the country and will build regions to best utilize the locations of the people we bring on board.
Position Overview:
As a Regional Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals within the paper and pulp industry. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of 6-8 sales directors, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to secure strategic partnerships.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales and/or sales management within the paper and pulp industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Deep understanding of the paper and pulp manufacturing process and associated chemistries.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary of $155,000-$170,000 plus an aggressive bonus plan which should put your total earnings over at least $225,000.
  • Car allowance, matching 401(k), comprehensive benefits package, and paid time off.
