Regional Sales Manager

About the Job:

We are looking for a relationship-creating Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The position will be integral to drive growth in the existing customer base, strategically adding new dealers, and providing ongoing support to Outside Sales Representatives and dealers to ensure sustained business growth through strong relationship management and strategic initiatives.

This is a remote-based position in the Atlanta GA area with expected travels to cover the territories of Georgia and Tennessee.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop and maintain a preferred manufacturer status with Outside Sales Representatives through regularly making joint sales calls to dealers with the primary emphasis to close business.
  • Create and execute business plans to achieve growth targets, leveraging insights from KPIs and market trends.
  • Expand the dealer network by prospecting for high-end door dealers and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Monitor customer preferences and competitor activities to inform strategies, and network with architects, designers, and suppliers to enhance dealer opportunities.
  • Prepare concise performance reports to track activities, results, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide dealers with training, mentoring, and updated tools like display doors, samples, and marketing materials.
  • Lead new product initiatives to boost dealer engagement and sales.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge through education and industry networking.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of outside sales experience in the doors, windows, or building materials industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in competitive, high-value markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent fields of study with outside sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in consultative selling, with exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess valid driver license and pass motor vehicle records screen.

Work Location:

  • Full-time, home-based in around Atlanta GA with expected travel to regional locations, up to 75% of each month.
  • Territories include: Georgia and Tennessee
