United Solar, a leading solar energy company, is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives, canvassing neighborhoods, approaching residential / commercial property owners, conveying utility overpayment reduction, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Outside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, making recommendations for improvements and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to drive revenue growth and customer success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales manager or similar role in the solar energy industry.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, with a focus on driving results.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
