JOB DESCRIPTION:

Chase Family Dentistry is looking for a full-time registered dental hygienist. We are a single dentist practice looking for someone who will treat our patients with loving care and fit well with our team. Our ideal candidate is skilled, efficient, self-motivated, and has a great personality! We love our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday). Compensation package includes health insurance, bonus system, internal dental benefits, paid time off, and retirement contributions. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical coding and documentation
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Alabama
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Knowledge of dental office systems and procedures
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
