The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing and developing personalized nutrition plans, delivering medical nutrition therapy, providing nutritional counseling, and assisting residents in achieving weight management and health goals. The role requires collaboration with residents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal wellness and nutritional health.QualificationsExpertise in Dietetics and NutritionRegistered Dietitian. BS or MS with major studies in food and nutrition. Minimum 1-year experience in clinical nutrition/geriatric nutrition at a long-term care facility.Familiar with MDS, NYSDOH standards.Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling and guiding individuals on dietary practicesExperience in delivering Medical Nutrition TherapyKnowledge of weight management strategies and plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials and maintenance of relevant certificationsAbility to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary healthcare environmentExperience in a senior care or healthcare setting is a plusAs an affiliate of URMC we have excellent benefits!Pay Range: NE $35/hr.
