Bronx Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Bronx, NY. Duties:Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unitHelp establish and implement employee policies and proceduresMentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career adviceMaintain the standards of care for the unitReview Resident records & quality of careMonitor overall care & review individual Residents’ casesAddress questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their familiesRepresent the unit's interests with the upper-level managementMaintain strong collaboration and communication with the interdisciplinary care teamWork closely with medical providers and department heads to coordinate and improve Resident careDemonstrate a team-oriented approach by supporting colleagues and fostering a respectful, cooperative work environmentMaintain professionalism and respect when working with leadership and upper-level management while following organizational direction and policiesRequirements:Must hold valid State RN License3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred2 years Charge Nurse experience preferredStrong computer skillsExcellent communication skills About us:Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.
