The Registered Nurse – Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services at Spaulding Cape Cod in Sandwich, MA. This role oversees all operational nursing functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with federal, state, and regional regulations. The Nurse Manager provides leadership to the nursing team, supports a culture of clinical excellence, and ensures that patient needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct nursing operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care. Evaluate nursing services and staff performance to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workflow to meet patient care needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and regional healthcare regulations and facility policies. Promote a positive, supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and accountability. Flex schedule as needed to support departmental operations and patient care priorities. Required Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Massachusetts. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Experience in hospital or rehabilitation facility management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
